Because I want a rock solid social contract…

…where every citizen feels secure, can be creative, take risks, change jobs, start businesses and be allowed to fail in the knowledge that there is a strong, grudge-free safety net there to catch them.

Because it’s not about money

It’s about hope. It’s about possibilities. It’s about the common good. It’s about allowing ourselves to fail in order to succeed. And (just in case you thought this post was about currency) I feel certain that whatever currency we use

The NHS in England is being sold off piece by piece. So far the Scottish goverment has managed to protect NHS Scotland (to a certain extent) from the same fate. All the main parties in Westminster are committed to this

Because I’d rather listen to people than politicians

I’m tired of the same old platitudes and sound bites from politicians from either side of the argument. I’m voting yes because the political system needs to change and progressive change always comes from the bottom up – never the
