Because “It will last as long as there are folk left to fight for it”

The NHS in England is being sold off piece by piece. So far the Scottish goverment has managed to protect NHS Scotland (to a certain extent) from the same fate. All the main parties in Westminster are committed to this programme of privatisation. They say it’s too expensive to run now. But if cost is really the issue how is adding a layer of profit hungry shareholders going to make the NHS more efficient and less expensive? The only outcome of privatisation is the total loss of provision of health care for those who cannot afford it. Voting Yes will not guarantee the protection of the NHS but I’m convinced that voting no will ensure it’s destruction. We need to vote yes and join the fight protect and rebuild our NHS.
